Richardson 1313 is a young ram we bought from the Richardson family in Ohio in 2014. He is a fall born (2013) ram and we used him lightly in the spring for fall 2014 lambs and again for some late spring 2015 lambs
is a new addition and we are using him for 2015 fall lambs. I saw him as a yearling and really liked him. I think he will add some length and muscle to our lamb crop. His sire is a Ewephoric ram and his dam is from the Grimme farm. We have always had really good luck with their sheep and expect this one to perform well for us.
This is an older Squires bred ram that I bought several years ago, used and then sold then bought back. He has probably been one of the most influential Horned Dorset rams in this area mainly because he has been on several farms and has a fair number of purebred and commercial daughters performing well. The lamb on the left in the picture above is one of our late spring lambs out of him this year. She is a triplet and about two weeks old when the picture was taken.
This is a Cassell bred ram that Paul showed at the NAILE a couple of years ago. He has been used in two or three Horned Dorset Flocks in North Alabama and is currently being used by our partner. I may try to use him sometime this fall for winter 2016 lambs
This is a winter ram lamb that we recently purchased to use on our Hampshire flock. I plan to enjoy watching as this youngster matures and becomes an influential herd sire. He is QR and I am sure that had he been RR he would have been way out of my price range.
This is the Scottish Blackface ram that we bought last winter. Hopefully he bred all our Scottish Blackface ewes and we will have some early summer babies. If not he will get the opportunity this fall to sire winter 2016 lambs
